It includes application examples, cabling,and power-up information.Application ExamplesThe E1 DSU/CSU is designed to provide an interfacebetween the E1 digital network and the customer premisesequipment. The E1 DSU/CSU is connected to thecustomer premises equipment through one of thesynchronous data ports (PORTs 1– 4) or the DTEDrop/Insert port (DTE). It is connected to the networkthrough the Network interface (NETWORK).
