This parameter contains the address of the 719 NETWORKERchannel port connected to the event port on the NMS host computer and a list indicatingthe types of events to be sent as alerts.The address must be in the form node number/group and is defined in option 1) EventLog Group (on the Event Log menu).Eight types of events can be sent to the NMS event port or to the event log printer. Eachtype can be activated by selecting the number of its option. Each channel port on the NETWORKER must be defined as follows:• By a profile containing parameters for monitoring and handling data.• By a channel group containing values that apply to channel ports with common functions.Up to eight profiles and up to 64 channel groups can be defined for a 719 NETWORKER. Theorder in which you complete these definitions does not matter, as long as both are defined andassigned to the appropriate channels.After you define the profile and assign it to a channel port, you must define a channel group for theterminal or PC.
