In each pair, one unit is configured as a central site unit orcentral office (CO) and the other is the customer premises (remote) unit (CP).Each HotWire Model 7924 standalone unit is configured at the factory to operateat the CP side of an T1 HDSL connection. However, you can easily reconfigure aunit for use at the CO end, as would be necessary for the configurations inFigure 1-1.
