ON – Enginewill start and run.Choke Control Lever1.Choke Closedposition: chokesoff air to enginefor easier start.2.Choke Openposition: allowsfor normaloperation.IMPORTANT: Gradually open choke afterengine starts.Throttle Control LeverThe throttle controls theengine speed. Toincrease or decreasethe engine speed,adjust to:1. Fast (Normal orWarm Starts)2. Partial-Throttle3. Slow (Cold WeatherStarts)Direction Control Lever(Figure 6)For side air flow:1. Lift the direction control lever (item 3) up,move to the forward position andrelease.2. Ensure that the assembly locks securelyinto the front notch on the bottom of theoutlet.3. Adjust the horizontal air deflector for thedesired air flow angle and tighten.For forward air flow:1. Lift the direction control lever (item 3) up,move to the rear position and release.2. Ensure that the assembly locks securelyinto the rear notch on the bottom of theoutlet.3. Move the horizon al air deflector to thedown position to allow unit to operateclosely to walls, fences, etc.OPERATIONWARNING: AVOID INJURY.
