Inserting New Function BlocksThere are many ways to create new function blocks in the configuration. One way is to insert anew function block by selecting it from the“Block” menu. Move it to where you want onthe screen and click again to place the functionblock. For example: Click on the Block menu atthe top of the screen. Move the cursor down toselect "Logic Counter".You can also use Edit Copy (Ctrl+C), Edit Paste(Ctrl+V) or Edit Duplicate (Ctrl+D) to insertanother copy of the currently selected block(s)or Edit Import to insert a previously exported (Edit Export) block(s).Renaming Function BlocksRight clicking on a function block with the mouse will cause a popup menu to appearfrom which you can select various operations related to that function block. One of theseoperations is to Rename the block. If you select ‘Rename Block’ you will be asked for anew name. Names must be unique.Deleting Function BlocksSelect a block(s) and press the “Delete” or “Backspace” key. Selected function blocks can alsobe deleted by selecting Edit Delete, Edit Cut (which also places the selection in the clipboardfor Pasting) or right clicking on a block and selecting Delete Block from the popup menu.Function Block Data Sheets (Help)Right clicking on a function block with the mouse will cause a popup menu to appear fromwhich you can select various operations related to that function block. One of these operations isto access the data sheet for the block. If you select ‘Help’, the data sheet for the function blockwill be brought up in an Adobe Reader® window.
