27ENGLISH 27CLEANING AND MAINTENANCEDaily cleaning of the machine.Caution:Timely cleaning and maintenance of your machine is very importantas it prolongs the life of your machine. Your machine gets exposed tomoist, coffee and limescale continuously!In this chapter it is described in detail which activities you need toperform at which frequency. Not doing this will ultimately makeyour machine stop working properly. This repair is NOT covered byyour warranty!Note:- Use a soft, dampened cloth to clean the machine.- Do not wash any of its parts in the dishwasher.- Do not immerse the machine in water.- Do not use alcohol, solvents, and/or abrasive objects to clean themachine.- Do not dry the machine and/or its components using a microwaveand/or standard oven.1 Empty and clean the coffee grounds drawer daily with the machineturned on.Other maintenance operations can only be carried out when the machineis turned off and unplugged.2 Empty and clean the coffee residues drawer located inside of the ma-chine. Open the service door, remove the coffee residues drawer andempty the coffee residues.
