The Multipress andT9 modes are used for entering text, and the Numeric modefor entering numbers. When you select a field that requirestext or numeric entry, the phone will automatically select theappropriate input mode. The status indicator on the title barshows the input mode you are currently using.To switch input modesPress and hold the Asterisk (*) key until the status indicatorfor the input mode you want is displayed in the title bar.The following table shows the complete list of input modestatus indicators.Entering text in Multipress modeWhen you are in Multipress mode, you can enter a letterby pressing the number key on which the letter appears.
