Qimova chair | User manualVersion 1.10 | Page 39 af 48Occupant restraint guides (strapguides)The belt restraints (1) should be attachedthrough the ‘Strap Guides’ (2) placed inthe pivot points of the backrest.The ‘Strap Guides’ will align themselvesautomatically to the most suitableposition.Figure 35.Figure 35Belt restraints should be adjusted as tightly as possible, but still remain comfortable for theuser.Belt restraints should not be twisted when in use.Care should be taken when applying the occupant restraint to position the seatbelt buckleso that the release button will not come into contact with wheelchair components in thecase of a crash.9.2 Vehicle clamping systemTransport fittings and clamps are installed on the bottom frame for safe automobiletransportation. The fittings are mounted with one on each side of the bottom frame andthe clamps are mounted in front of the bearing tube.If necessary these can be used for lifting the wheelchair.Rear restraints, rear viewThe angle of the rear restraints should be80° or higher.The distance between the rear restraintsshould be 30 cm or more.Qimova recommends that the angle is asclose as possible to 90°.Figure 36.Figure 36
