This requires a 10/100Base-T straight cable. Direct Ethernet connection from the management workstation to the routerRJ-45 Ethernet connector. To ensure that your workstation isconfigured to communicate with the 10.0.0 subnet, refer to the followinginstructions for your workstation.For a Windows workstation:1. On the Windows Start menu, point to Settings, point to Control Panel, andthen click Network and Dial-up Connections.2. Click Make New Connection.3. Click Connect to a private network through the Internet, and then clickNext.4. Type the new IP address; for example, 10.0.0.253.For a Linux or Solaris workstation:1. Open a command window.2.
