IPv4 Address. When using an IPv4 address, define the followingparameters: IP Address is the IP address to which the port responds. Anun-initialized port has an IP address of all zeros. Although you maymodify the IP address on this page, you typically set it using theConfiguration Wizard. Subnet Mask is the subnet mask used by the port. Although you maymodify the subnet mask on this page, you typically set it using theConfiguration Wizard. Gateway is the gateway for the selected port. VLAN indicates the virtual LAN configuration: Disabled or Enabled.Enable VLAN to configure the following: VLAN ID specifies an identification value in the range 1 to 4094. Priority defines the priority (0 to 7) assigned to this VLAN. IPv6 Address. When using an IPv6 address, define the followingparameters: IPv6 Address1 is the first user-assigned IPv6 address to which theport responds. A value of :: indicates that an IPv6 address has notbeen assigned. Although you may modify the IP address in thiswindow, you typically set it using the Configuration Wizard. IPv6 Address2 is the second user-assigned IPv6 address to which theport responds. A value of :: indicates that an IPv6 address has notbeen assigned. The systemcan also dynamically set the IPv6 default router, depending on yournetwork configuration. IPv6 Link Local specifies the IPv6 link local address of the port. Itcannot be changed. VLAN IPv6 indicates the VLAN IPv6 configuration as Disabled orEnabled. When enabled, you can configure the following: VLAN ID IPv6 contains an identification value in the range 1 to4094.
