ENGLISH RAIS - Manual for RONDO & MINO II26ENGLISH RAIS - Manual for RONDO & MINO II27Light the fire and shut thedoor, leaving the door ajarapprox. 10-15 mm.Lighting and fuellingTIPS before firing up:Open a door or window close to the wood burn-ing stove.If there is a “storm” in the stove coming from thechimney, it is advisable to place a screwed-uppiece of newspaper between the upper baffleplate and the chimney, set the paper on fire,and wait until you hear a “rumbling” noise in thechimney. This means that there definitely is adraught in the chimney and you avoid smoke inthe room.To light the stove, use alcohol briquettes or similar,as well as approx. 2 kg of firewood, split into kin-dling sticks. Set the air damper to the fully openposition.When the flames are clear - after approx. 5-10 min.- close the door.Damper - see adjustment of air damper.After approx. 10-20 min. - when you have a goodbed of glowing embers - add 2-3 pieces of wood.Leave the door ajar until the fire has caught onproperly - close the door.Damper - see adjustment of air damper.After approx. 5 min. - or when the flames are clearand stable - close the damper gradually.It is recommendable to have a layer of ash of ap-prox. 20 mm, as it has an insulating effect.Note!During operation thedoor should alwaysremain shut.
