Local authorities and a chimney specialist should be contactedprior to set up.It is prohibited to carry out unauthorised alterations to the stove.There must be plenty of fresh air in the room where the stove is being installed, in orderto ensure proper combustion. Note that any mechanical exhaust ventilation - e.g. anextraction hood - may reduce the air supply. Any air grates must be placed in such amanner, that the air supply is not blocked.The floor structure must be able to carry the weight of the wood burning stove, as wellas the weight of a chimney, if necessary.When you choose where to set up your RAIS wood burning stove, you should considerthe heat distribution to the other rooms. This will enable you to get the best use of yourstove. The stove should be set up at a safe distance from inflammable materials. See themanufacturer’s plate on the wood burning stove.Operation of swivel base (RAIS Rondo)If the distributor has already installed a swivel base on the stove, you should do the fol-lowing:Lift up the positioning bolt and rotate the stove at 30° intervals.When you have reached the desired position, release the positioning bolt, and turn thestove slightly until the bolt clicks into place.
