Press the POWER button on the front of the TV. Ifthe TVturns on, check the remote control solutions on page 24.Buttons don't work• If you're using the remote control, press the IV button first to make sure the remote is in IV mode.o Unplug the TV for two minutes and then plug it back in. Turn the IV on and try again.TV turns off unexpectedlyo Sleep timer might have been activated.o Electronic protection circuit may have been activated because of a power surge. Wait 30 seconds andthen turn on again. If this happens frequently, the voltage in your house may be abnormally high or low.o Unplug IV. Wait five minutes. Plug it in again.Blank screeno Try another channel.No sound, picture okay• Maybe the sound is muted. Try pressing the volume up button to restore sound.Can't select certain channel• Channel may be blocked or not approved through the V-Chip.Noisy stereo reception• May be a weak station.
