Arrow Buttons forTV Menu SystemThe Buttons on the Remote ControlThe remote control contains buttons that are dual purposedepending on which function (IV or DVD) is being used. In addition,some of the DVD buttons can be hidden when the remote is beingused for the IV function. Slide the bottom portion of the remotecontrol downward to reveal additional DVD buttons.TV Function ButtonsMUTE Lowers the volume to the minimum level. Press again torestore volume to original level.POWER Turns the IV/DVD on and off.IV Puts the remote in IV mode.INPUT Toggles between available inputs (IV (AIR/CABLE), AVl, DVD,AV3].SLEEP Press to set the Sleep Timer. Repeatedly pressing the buttonadvances the time in lO-minute increments up to 2 hours.BROWSE Press the button twice to begin channel scan. Press againto select the current channel.INFO Displays channel information. Press again to remove theinformation from the screen.PIC Brings up picture presets.CLEAR Removes a menu or display from the screen and returns youto IV viewing. For menus with digit inputs, pressing CLEARwill clearthe last number entered.0-9 (Number buttons) Use the number buttons to enter channelnumbers. To enter a two-digit channel, press the two digits. To entera three-digit channel, press and hold the first digit for two secondsuntil two dashes appear to the right of the number, then add thesecond two. Example: to tune a channel 123, press and hold 1 fortwo seconds, press 2, then press 3.CCD Turns closed captioning on and off.60 BACK Returns to the previous channel, lfyou are in the menusystem, GO BACK takes you to the previous menu screen.MENU Displays the Picture menu, first menu of the IV on-screenmenu systemArrow buttons (VOL_ / I_ and PROG.A/V) Pressthe arrowbuttons to navigate through the on-screen menu system.VOL _ / _ (Volume buttons) Decreases or increases the volume.PROG.A/V (Channel buttons) Scans up or down through thecurrent channel list.
