Plug in your Product and Turn It OnPlug the end of the power cord into a grounded wall outlet. Insert the plug completely intothe outlet. Press ON•OFF on the remote, or press POWER on the front panel.Put Batteries in the Remote• Remove the battery compartment cover from the back of the remote by pushing downand sliding off the cover.• Insert 2 fresh “AA” batteries. Make sure the polarities (+ and -) are aligned correctly to thediagram inside the battery compartment.• Replace the cover.Note: If you won’t need to use your remote for a long period of time, remove thebatteries to avoid damage due to possible leakage.OKbuttonArrowbuttonsUse the Remote Control toComplete the Initial SetupThe remote control contains buttons that are dual purpose dependingon which function (TV or DVD) is being used. Use the TV•DVDbutton to switch between modes (for example, TV mode or DVDmode). The green button labels are used for DVD functions.“Navigation” is the technical term describing how to move throughthe on-screen menus. The method is the same throughout the menuscreens: highlight your choice and select it.To highlight a menu item, press the arrow buttons on the remote tohighlight one of the items listed on the screen. Use the up or downarrow button to move up or down. Use the right or left arrow buttonto move right or left.
