The Buttons on the Remote Control0-9 (Number buttons) Enter channel numbers and time settings directlythrough the remote control.To enter a two-digit channel, press the two digits. To enter a three-digit channel,press and hold the first digit for two seconds until two dashes appear to theright of the number, then add the second two. Example: to tune to channel 123,press and hold 1 for two seconds, press 2, then press 3.Arrow buttons (up, down, left, right) Press the arrow buttons to movethrough the on-screen menu system.ANTENNA Functions as TV/VCR button in VCR mode and TV/receiver buttonin SAT•CABLE mode.AUX (auxiliary) Puts the remote in auxiliary mode to operate the componentyou’ve programmed the remote to operate with this button. (light-emitting diode) The little light on the remote that lights when youare programming the remote. It also lights when you press a valid button onthe remote.MENU Displays the TV’s Main menu. You can also press and hold for 2seconds to display the GUIDE Plus+ system.MUTE Lowers the volume to its minimum level. Press again to restore volume.OK When a menu is on the screen, press OK to select the item thatis highlighted.ON•OFF Turns the TV on and off. When the remote is in another mode (VCR,DVD, Satellite, etc.) and the remote is programmed to operate that component,you can press ON•OFF to turn the component on and off.
