Each menu is outlined and detailed to help you get the most from your TV. TheParental Control menu is discussed in the Features chapter.The first menu you see when you press the MENU button on theremote is called the MAIN MENU. To use the MAIN MENU:1. Press the MENU button (the MAIN MENU appears).2. Use the arrow buttons (left, right, up, down) to move through themenu items.3. Press the OK button or right arrow button to select a highlighteditem in the menu.Note: The Picture, Sound, Parental Control, and Preferencesmenus are available and can be customized for each input. Press the INPUT button until the RGB or DVI (depending onwhich jack you’re using for the computer) Input selection appears.2. Press the MENU button (the PC MAIN MENU appears).3. Press the OK button or right arrow button to select a highlighteditem in the menu.Exiting a menuThere are two ways to exit a menu:• Press MENU until on-screen menus disappear.• Press CLEAR. The on-screen displays are cleared from the screenand you return to TV viewing.ControlsControls let you adjust the default settings of your TV. You can choosea setting, enter a number, or adjust a level such as tint or brightness.There are four types of controls: sliders, choice lists (check boxes, iconselections), numeric entries, and option lists.SlidersSliders are used to select a specific point of a control that hascontinuous levels. To make adjustments:1. Press the up or down arrow button to select the slider control forthe feature you want to adjust.2.
