If for some reason, the outcome of any of these surveys is negative, HBSor HSU re-location will need to be considered.A Site Survey consists of three stages:1. Preliminary survey - The proposed sector is analyzed in the office using a topographicmap. You should use additional tools such as the Link Budget Calculator or the Radio Plan-ner (if available).2. Physical survey - The locations of the indoor and outdoor equipment are determined on-site.3. Radio Frequency (RF) survey - It is recommended that the installation area be scannedwith a spectrum analyzer, to identify RF interference so as to determine a clear channel forradio installation (on-site).The Site SurveyIntroductionRADWIN wireless links must be planned before installation. The designated installation sitesmust be appraised to determine that the wireless system is able to operate efficiently andprovide connectivity without signal degradation.RADWIN 5000 HPMP offers a wide operating frequency range.
