EMU-2™User Manual15Total to DateThe Total to Date screen shows youraccumulated totals for energyconsumption and estimated cost for thecurrent time period. The start date of thecurrent time period is shown at the top ofthe screen. The number of elapsed daysso far in this time period is shown in theupper right of the screen. The number ofdays is shown to the nearest one-tenth ofa day. The cumulative energy consumption for the time period is shown as recorded bythe smart meter. The estimated cost for the recorded energy consumption is shown indollars (or cents, if it is less than one dollar), and is based on the current price valueduring the period. The average cost per day for the current time period is shown in thelower right of the screen.This is like the odometer in your car; it shows you the total energy used so far.IMPORTANT: The EMU-2™ displays the usage as recorded bythe smart meter, and costs based on your input; these numbersmay differ from what is shown on your actual utility bill.The current time period is defined in the Billing Dates screen in Configuration Mode. Atmidnight on the Stop Date, the accumulated totals are saved and transferred to thePrevious Totals screen, and the new current time period is started.If the Start and Stop Dates in the Billing Dates screen are set to “manual”, then thecurrent time period will run until it is manually reset. This is done by pressing andholding the Top Button for 5 seconds, which will save all of the accumulated totals in thePrevious Totals screen, and restart all of the current counters from zero.Previous TotalsThe Previous Totals screen shows youraccumulated totals for energyconsumption and estimated cost for theprevious time period. The start and enddates of the previous time period areshown at the top of the screen.
