GB-12GBRANSOMES HIGHWAY 2130SAFETY AND OPERATORS MANUAL6 CONTROLS6.1 STARTER KEY SWITCHThe starter key (A) should be turned anti-clockwise to the'pre-heat' (No. 2) position (Diesel only) to heat the glowplugswhen the green warning lamp goes out on warning lampdisply module turn the starter key clockwise to the 'start' (No.3) position to start the engine. After starting, the key shouldbe released and allowed to return automatically to the 'on'(No. 1) position for normal running.6.2 THROTTLE CONTROL LEVERThe lever (B) should be moved away from the operator toincrease the engine speed and towards the operator todecrease the engine speed.NOTE: Engine should be used at full speed.6.4 TRACTION FOOT PEDALTo move the machine forward press the front of the footpedal (A). To reverse depress the rear of the foot pedal.When the pedal is released it will return to its neutralposition.6.5 SPEED LIMITERThe speed limiter (B) is operated by sliding the blackknob to the right or left. When slid to the right themachine is limited to cutting speed, when slid to the left,transport speed is available. In transport mode, reverseis not available.IMPORTANT: To enable mow engage the speedlimiter must be in the cutting speed position. Ifcutting units are rotating, moving the speed liniterbetween the mow and transport positions willengage and disengage cylinder rotation.6.3 STEERING WHEEL RAKE ADJUSTMENTThe steering wheel is adjustable for rake. The clampingrelease knob (A) is situated on the side of the controlconsole on the right hand side. To adjust turn the clampingknob anticlockwise to release and pivot the steering wheelbackwards and forwards to obtain desired setting then lockin position by turning clamping knob clockwise.
