Whenyou see this symbol, be alert to thepossibility of injury, carefully read themessage that follows, and inform otheroperators.Safety Checks• Do not enter or reach under the machine if itis lifted and not sufficiently supported. Themachine should be supported on placesmarked by the symbol of a lifting jack.• The mower should only be transported in acontainer or on a trailer.• Check bolt torques at regular intervals. Thefirst check should be done after 8 operatinghours. Pay attention to the attachment of thecutting blade and the proper bolt torque. Usea torque wrench and a specified torque See11.21.• The attaching flange of the blade or the boltsmust not show signs of damage or wear. Thebolts must be complete. The blade must beundamaged, evenly worn and adequatelysharp.• If you are driving the machine outside theworking area, always turn off the mowingblade and set the maximum mowing height,otherwise the blade may get damaged.• Keep the product clean after use. Do not usegasoline or similar oil products for cleaning.• Do not reach into the space under the mowerwith your hands of feet. Do not reach underthe engine cover or into the gear mechanism.• If you are forced to reach under the machine,wait until all rotating parts stop. Attention, ittakes some time before the blade runs down!The run-down time depends on the state andwear of the brake/clutch. Have the brakechecked at regular intervals at an authorisedservicing facility.• While operating, wear closed shoes and workclothing. Do not wear loose clothes that couldget caught by the machine, short trousers orlight shoes.• It is strictly prohibited for the operator to wearloose clothing• A local risk assessment should determine theneed for a face shield.• Do not operate the machine after drinkingalcohol or using medication influencingperception.• Before starting the engine, make sure that themower blade is disengaged. If the bladeswitch is in the ON position, the machinecannot be started. When engaging the mowerblade step aside far enough to be protectedagainst objects accidentally thrown from themower and to be able to stop the mower incase of an emergency. Do not enter the pathof the mower.• While operating the mower, make sure themower is clearly visible at all times and withinthe range of the remote control unit and thatyou can clearly recognise dangeroussituations and react to them properly. Do notabuse the maximum reach of the remotecontrol.• When using the mower, follow all generalwork safety regulations.• Work with the mower may only be started ifthe mower is not damaged by previousoperation.• Do not change the engine tuning, especiallythe engine speed regulator. Do not modify theexhaust pipe.• Do not use the mower if there is less than30% of fuel in the fuel tank.• Do not move the mower by means of towingit behind another machines.Operating Environment• The machine should only be used by personsover 18 years of age, who have beenacquainted with the machine and the user’smanual. The remote control (further referred toas “RC”) is considered a part of the machine.• The user’s manual must be stored in a placepermanently accessible to the operator andmust be available to him at all times.• Do not allow children or unauthorised personsuse the product.• Before starting to operate the machine, youhave to be familiar with all the symbols nextto the controls and indicators used on themower and the RC.• Pay special attention to the stopping andshutting-off of the engine and to theemergency shutting-off of the mower.• Before using the mower on a slope, makesure you test and practice your mower-controlskills on flat and level ground, which issufficiently free and spacious. Master how tocontrol the movement on a surface, to mowaround bushes, trees and other terrainelements and obstacles.• While operating or transporting the mower,the operator must always have the mower intheir view. The maximum distance betweenthe operator and the mower is 50 meters.• While using the mower follow all safety
