CAN Basic harnessThe Basic harness can only be used for tractor steering. Ifthe tractor is mounted with this harness there is nopossibility to use the tractor for implement steering (TWIN,plough).3.2. CAN Implement Ready (IR) harnessThe Implement Ready harness ensures that the tractor canbe used for tractor and implement steering. Mounting theimplement is possible through the IBBC-connector. Theharness is mounted from the battery to the IBBC-connectorat the back side of the tractor.3.3. Mount harnessThe CAN basic harness and the CAN Implementharness are divided in the following harnesses (rankedin order from the battery):1. Power harness: this harness comes from thebattery and goes to the rear axle along the chassis, wrapped in a hard casing. A Basic harness goesfrom the battery directly to the chassis harness(and not to the rear axle of the tractor). Mount therelays and fuses well nearby the battery. Find aplace where they can be fastened firmly andvibration free (Figure 2).2. Extension harness: extends the power harness tothe In-Cab harness. This harness is wrapped in ahard casing. This harness goes inside the cabin.Figure 2 Correctly mounted relays and fuses.
