3.3 Software updatesThe software running on the product can be updated.• Raymarine periodically releases software updatesto improve product performance and add newfeatures.• The software on many products can be updatedusing a connected and compatible multifunctiondisplay (MFD).Important:• To prevent potential software-related issues withyour product, always follow the relevant updateinstructions carefully and in the sequenceprovided.• If in doubt as to the correct procedure forupdating your product software, refer to yourdealer or Raymarine technical support.Caution: Installing softwareupdatesThe software update process is carriedout at your own risk.
