Set upn HT2300A/HT2300L1. Join the engine unit to the clutch housingof the cutter unit, with the fuel tank on theblade side.2. Align the mounting holes and tighten theengine securely with the 3 screws.3. Remove the right handle mounting screw,nut, and washer casually attached on theblade beam.4. Set the right handle on the beam makingthe grip come to the opposite side of thecutting teeth, and attach with the hardwareremoved before. When fastening the nut,hold the screw to keep the blade washerloose.• To assure designed cutting performance,always keep a half spare turn for the bladescrews. It will cause blade seizure andpremature wear of the clutch system if theyare too tight. Too loose screws will makethe gap between the blades large, andresult in poor cutting performance.NOTE5. Install the left handle to the bracketattached to the clutch housing. Use thehardware as shown below.6. Attach the throttle lever and the enginestop switch to the left handle, and connectthe throttle cable and the switch wire. Putthe rubber cap onto the switch button.Hold the wires at the lower part of thehandle using the tie band.7. Check the cable play and, if necessary,adjust between .04" and .08" (1~2mm) bybending throttle wire receiver of thebracket with a nipper.7
