Never vent to anotherroom or inside a building. Make sure that thevent is fitted as per Venting instructions.5. Inspect the venting system annually for blockageand any signs of deterioration.6. Venting terminals shall not be recessed into awall or siding.7. Any safety glass removed for servicing must bereplaced prior to operating the appliance.8. To prevent injury, do not allow anyone who isunfamiliar with the operation to use the fireplace.9. Wear gloves and safety glasses for protectionwhile doing required maintenance.10. Be aware of electrical wiring locations in wallsand ceilings when cutting holes for termination.11. U n d e r n o c i r c u m s t a n c e s h o u l d t h i sappliance be modified. Parts that haveto be removed for servicing should bereplaced prior to operating this appliance.12. Installation and any repairs to thisappliance should be done by a qualified serviceperson. A professional service person should becalled to inspect this appliance annually. Makeit a practice to have all of your gas applianceschecked annually.13. Do not slam shut or strike the glass door.14. Under no circumstances should any solid fuels(wood, paper, cardboard, coal, etc.) be used inthis appliance.15.
