DO NOT use abrasivematerials or chemical cleaners, as they mayharm the finish and void the warranty.DOOR GASKETIf the door gasket requires replacement, 7/8"diameter material must be used. A proper hightemperature gasket adhesive is required. Agasket repair kit, Part # 846-570 is availablefrom your local Regency dealer.DOOR LATCHADJUSTMENTThe door latch may require adjustment as thedoor gasket material compresses over time.Removal of the spacer washer, shown in thediagram below, will allow the latch to be movedcloser to the door frame, causing a tighterseal. Remove and replace the nuts, washeras shown.GLASS CLEANINGDo not attempt to clean the glass when it is hot,allow the glass to cool before cleaning.Do not use abrasive cleaners to clean the glass.Your local retailer can supply you with specialglass cleaner if plain water and a soft cloth doesnot remove all deposits.GLASSREPLACEMENTYour Regency Insert is supplied with 5 mm.Neoceram ceramic glass that will withstandthe highest heat that your unit will produce. Inthe event that you break your glass by impact- purchase your replacement from an authorizedRegency dealer only, and follow our step-by-stepinstructions.GLASS REMOVALAllow the stove to cool before removing or replac-ing glass. Remove the door from the insert andremove the glass retainer. Use caution whenremoving broken glass to prevent injury.When placing the replacement glass in thedoor, make sure that the glass gasketing willproperly seal your unit. Replace the retainerand tighten securely, but do not wrench downon the glass as this may cause breakage. Donot substitute materials. If your glass door doesbreak, do not continue to use your unit until ithas been replaced.
