If you cannot reach your gas supplier,call the fire department.C) If any portion of this appliancedoes not operate as the instructionsindicate, don't try to repair it, call aqualified service technician. Do notuse tools. Force or attempted repairmay result in a fire or explosion.D) Do not use this appliance if anypart has been under water.Immediately call a qualified servicetechnician to inspect the applianceand to replace any part of thecontrol system and any gas controlwhich has been under water.OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS1. STOP! Read the safety information above on this label.2. Read the owner's manual including the section on "RemoteControl" operation.3. Do not attempt to light the pilot by hand.4. If you smell gas, STOP! Follow "B" in the safetyinformation above on this label. If you don't smell gas, goto the next step.5. Using the remote control, setthermostat to desired setting, orswitch press the ON/OFF key on theremote. "ON" will be indicated on thedisplay of the remote and an audible"beep" will be heard at the unit toidicate the command has beenreceived.TO TURN OFF GAS TO APPLIANCE1. Set thermostat to lowest setting, or press the ON/OFF Key. "OFF" will be indicated on the displayand an audible "Beep" will be heard at the unit to indicate the command has been received.FOR YOUR SAFETY READ BEFORE OPERATINGC-118006. All air intake components must be re-sealed using high temperature sealantor ceramic gaskets as provided by the manufacturer or as shown in the vent installation area of the manual. This process should be completed by a qualifiedhearth installation technician.
