Regency P33-3 Zero Clearance Direct Vent Gas FireplaceINSTALLATIONConversion Kit from Natural Gas to Propane Model #431-969for P33-3 using SIT 820 NOVA Gas ValveRemove the 2 screws, push BurnerAssembly to the left and lift out.7) Unscrew the pilot orifice with the allen keyand replace with the LP pilot orifice in thekit and replace pilot cap.Burner Orifi ceConversion Kit Contains:Qty. Part # Description1 910-018 SIT Conversion Kit-50%Turndown LP1 910-037 LP Injector (Pilot Orifice)1 904-163 Burner Orifice #541 908-255 Decal "Converted to Propane"1 908-528 Red "PROPANE" label1 908-529 5/32" Allen Key1 908-812 Instruction Sheet1) Shut off the gas supply.2) Remove the louvers (and bay door if it isinstalled).3) Open the flush door and remove the door.4) Remove the logs and embers/rockwool.5) Remove the 2 screws holding the BurnerAssembly to the firebox base. Push theBurner Assembly to the left and lift out.6) Pull off the pilot cap to expose the pilotorifice.8) Remove burner orifice with a 1/2" wrenchand discard. Use another wrench to hold onto the elbow behind the orifice.9) Reinstall new burner orifice LP stamped #54and tighten.10) Remove and discard the 3 pressure regula-tor mounting screws (A), pressure regulatortower (B) and diaphragm (C).11) Insure that the rubber gasket (D) is properlypositioned and install the new HI/LO pres-sure regulator assembly to the valve usingthe new screws (E) supplied with the kit.Tighten screws securely.12) Reverse steps 5) to 2).13) Attach clear label "This unit has been con-verted to Propane" near or on the serial #decal. Attach white label "This valve hasbeen converted from NG to LPG using SITconversion Kit Code 0.907.202" onto thevalve.14) Replace yellow "Natural Gas" label with red"Propane" label15) Check for gas leaks.16) Check inlet and outlet pressures.17) Check operation of flame control.18) Check for proper flame appearance andglow on logs.THIS CONVERSION MUST BE DONE BY A QUALIFIED GAS FITTERIF IN DOUBT DO NOT DO THIS CONVERSION !!
