Never operate theappliance with the glass removed.5) Verify that the flueing and cap areunobstructed.6) Ensure that the brick panels are installed.7) Verify log placement. If the pilot cannot beseen when lighting the unit, the logs havebeen incorrectly positioned.8) The unit should never be turned off, and onagain without a minimum of a 60 secondwait.FAN240 Volt AC power is needed for the fan switchand blower. The fan can be hard wired if desired.A terminal block is provided on the left hand sideof the unit. A three wire power cord can also beused and plugged into a suitable receptacle.Unit must be grounded at all times. Donot cut the ground terminal off under anycircumstances.Note: A 240 Volt AC power cord can beinstalled at rough-in stage so thatthe power is available. A three wirepower cord can be used.Note: The bearings are lubricated for life.Do not lubricate them. Make sureyou vacuum the fan area on a regularbasis.IMPORTANT:These fans collect a lot of dust from withinyour home. Ensure you maintain these fanmotors on a regular basis by vacuumingout the fan blades and housing using a softbrush nozzle.
