The appliance and vent shouldbe enclosed.4) This appliance must be connected to thespecified vent and termination cap to theoutside of the building envelope. Never ventto another room or inside a building. Makesure that the vent is fitted as per Ventinginstructions.5) Inspect the venting system annually forblockage and any signs of deterioration.6) Venting terminals shall not be recessed intoa wall or siding.7) Any safety glass removed for servicingmust be replaced prior to operating theappliance.8) To prevent injury, do not allow anyone whois unfamiliar with the operation to use thefireplace.9) Wear gloves and safety glasses for pro-tection while doing required maintenance.10) Be aware of electrical wiring locations inwalls and ceilings when cutting holes fortermination.11) Under no circumstances should this appli-ance be modified. Parts that have to beremoved for servicing should be replacedprior to operating this appliance.12) Installation and any repairs to this applianceshould be done by an authorized serviceperson.
