When installingany additional facing material use the FinishingTemplate (included with the unit) to ensurethat the finishing material does not exceed theallowable overlap.Left Side FlangeFinishingTemplateVENTINGINTRODUCTIONThe L676S uses the "balanced flue" technologyCo Axial system. The inner liner vents productsof combustion to the outside while the outer linerdraws outside combustion air into the combustionchamber thereby eliminating the need to useheated room air for combustion and losing warmroom air up the chimney.Note: These flue pipes must not be connectedto any other appliance. The gas appliance and vent system must bevented directly to the outside of the building, and never be attached to a chimney serving aseparate solid fuel or gas burning appliance. Each direct vent gas appliance must use it's ownseparate vent system. Common vent systemsare prohibited. The Finishing Template uses two magnets toattach itself to the fl ange on the left or rightside of the unit (see diagram below). Install thefacing material up to the outside edge (whenfacing the unit) of the fi nishing template. Thistemplate may be discarded after the facingmaterial has been installed.
