40 Regency P33SE Gas FireplaceINSTALLATIONOPTIONAL STAINLESS STEEL REFLECTIVE PANEL INSTALLATION1) If already installed, remove the burner assembly and firebox base(See installation manual for instructions).2) Remove 4 screws prior to top panel installation.Diagram 2Diagram 3Back PanelDiagram 1Diagram 5Diagram 63) Place the top panel in first, secure with 4 screws.(See Diagram 1 for screw locations)4) With the top panel in place - install back panel. The back panel fi tsunder the top panel, push the top panel up to fit back panel intoposition. (Diagrams 3)5) The side panels are installed last, slide in as shown in Diagram 6.Note: The bend in the metal on the side panels should face outward(toward inside of fi rebox - see Diagram 5). If the side panels havebeen installed incorrectly the firebox base will not fi t.6) Reinstall the firebox base and burner assembly.Before installation, panels must be handled and cleaned as per instructions noted below:Stainless Steel Panels Black Enamel Panels• Stainless panels must be inspected for scratches and dimples priorto installation. All claims to be recorded at this time. Claims for dam-age after installation will not receive consideration.• Black Enamel panels must be inspected for scratches and dimplesprior to installation. All claims to be recorded at this time. Claims fordamage after installation will not receive consideration.• To protect the finish during installation and handling - cottongloves MUST be worn at all times while handling the panels (even whenremoving protective coating).• Use a hair dryer to remove the protective coating from the panels.• Stainless panels will discolor a little during normal operation.This is normal and should not be considered a defect.• Black Enamel panels will discolor a little during normal operation.This is normal and should not be considered a defect.* All hand and fi nger marks MUST be cleaned off with a soft cloth anda stainless steel cleaner. Most stainless steel cleaners leave a film/residue on the surface of the panels. Use an ammonia based cleaner(ie. glass cleaner) to remove this film before applying heat to the unit.Failure to do this will result in burn stains on panels which youwill be unable to remove.
