HRI4E Unit only.Remove burner (see manual for instructions).Remove existing pilot shield by removing 2 screws.Install pilot shield provided with Log Set using 2 screws fromprevious pilot shield. Reinstall burner.Read the instructions below carefully and refer to the images. If the logs are broken do not use the unit until they are replaced. Both HRI4E & HRI6E Units.Sweep glass aside from pilot covers (if already installed) to installRear Log Bracket, clip the front edge of the rear bracket on to rear ofthe burner as shown below.IMPORTANT: After the Rear Log Brackets are installed glass crystalsmust be reapplied. Glass crystals should not be higher then the bottomof the pilot screen cover as shown in diagram 3. Pilot area needs to beclear to allow proper ignition as shown in diagram 3.Rear Log BracketsNew Pilot Shield - HRI4E Only Reapply glass crystals on burner as shown below.Do not apply any glass crystals over the pilot/burnerscreen cover.
