21EnglishProblem Cause SolutionThe cappuccinatore and milktubes are not clean.Remove and disassemble the internalcappuccinatore (see 'Cleaning the internalcappuccinatore under the tap'). Rinse allparts under the tap. For thoroughcleaning, use Philips milk circuit cleanerand perform the Deep Milk Cleanprocedure via the 'Status' and'Hygiesteam' menu. Note that if the partshave been cleaned in the dishwasher, theymay have become clogged by foodparticles or detergent residues. A visualcheck that they are not obstructed is alsorecommended.We advise you to perform the HygieSteamprogram every day: 1) Press 'Status' on thecontrol panel. 2) Select 'HygieSteam'. 3)Then confirm all steps on the display.The milk tubes are clogged. Always store the milk container withoutthe milk tubes in the refrigerator. Leftovermilk could accumulate inside the milktubes and block the flow of milk throughthe tubes. Rinse the milk tubes beforestorage.The machine seems to beleaking.The machine uses water to rinsethe internal circuit and brewgroup. This water flows throughthe internal system directly intothe drip tray. This is normal.Empty the drip tray every day or as soon asthe 'drip tray full' indicator pops upthrough the drip tray cover (Fig. 29). Tip:Place a cup under the dispensing spout tocollect rinsing water and reduce theamount of water in the drip tray.The drip tray is too full and hasoverflowed which makes it looklike the machine is leaking.Empty the drip tray every day or as soon asthe 'drip tray full' indicator pops upthrough the drip tray cover (Fig. 29).The water tank is not fullyinserted, some water is leakingout of the water tank and air isdrawn into the machine.Make sure the water tank is in the correctposition: remove it and reinsert it into themachine as far as possible.The brew group is dirty/clogged. Rinse the brew group.The machine is not placed on ahorizontal surface.Place the machine on a horizontal surfaceso that the drip tray does not overflowand the 'drip tray full' indicator worksproperly.I cannot activate theAquaClean water filterand the machine asks fordescaling.The filter has not been installed orreplaced in time after the screenshowed the AquaClean reminder.This means your machine is notcompletely free of limescaleanymore.Descale your machine first and then installthe AquaClean water filter.
