62Forwarding Calls to Gear SIf you turn on Auto call forwarding, when GearS is in Remote Connection mode, calls to thesmartphone are automatically forwarded to theGear S. You can turn on Auto call forwardingwhen you pair your Gear S with a smartphone,in the Gear S Settings, or in Settings of theSamsung Gear app on the smartphone.When call forwarding is active:• Your smartphone will ring a few times foran incoming call, and then the call will beforwarded to your Gear S.• If you do not answer the call on your Gear S,the caller may leave a voicemail that you canlisten to on your Gear S.To use call forwarding, the Use Remoteconnection setting must be enabled on theSamsung Gear app on the smartphone (this isenabled by default).Call forwarding continues until your Gear S andsmartphone are connected again, via Bluetoothor remote connection.Note: Depending on your serviceprovider, call forwarding may require aseparate subscription, and may result inadditional charges.If you uninstall the Samsung Gear appwhile call forwarding is active, you willneed to turn off call forwarding in thesmartphone’s Call settings.Turn off call forwarding before switchingor removing SIMs in either thesmartphone or Gear S, to avoid callsbeing routed to unintended devices.
