39 CameraApplicationsCamera Settings1. From a Home screen, tap Apps >Camera.2. Tap Settings to configure settings forCamera. Available options vary depending on thecamera/recording mode used.Camera• Photo size: Select a resolution. Use higherresolution for higher quality. Higher resolutionpictures take up more memory.• Burst shot: Take a series of pictures of movingsubjects.• Tap to take pics: Tap the image on thepreview screen to take pictures.• Face detection: Detect faces in pictures fortagging with the person’s name.• Metering modes: Select a meteringmethod. This determines how light valuesare calculated. Center-weighted measuresbackground light in the center of the scene.Spot measures the light value at a specificlocation. Matrix averages the entire scene.• ISO: Select an ISO value. This controls cameralight sensitivity. It is measured in film-cameraequivalents. Low values are for stationaryor brightly-lit objects. Higher values are forfast-moving or poorly-lit objects.• Smart stabilization: Activate anti-shake.Anti-shake helps to keep the focus steadywhen the camera is moving.• Save as: Save the photo as Rich tone andoriginal or Rich tone only.Video• Video size: Select a resolution. Use higherresolution for higher quality. You must firstactivate Location tag described above.• Save as flipped: Save the self-portrait orself-recording as a reversed, or mirrored,image.• Storage: Select the memory location forstorage.• Shutter sound: Turn the shutter sound on oroff.• Reset: Reset the camera settings.
