Or, select“mute” from the SET menu. “MUTE” (uppercase) is dis-played.Background MusicIf a music source is supplied, you can listen to music throughthe speaker in your keyset.• While on-hook, press the HOLD key to hear music (theHOLD key light will flash).To turn music off:• Press the HOLD key againAppointment Reminder/Alarm ClockYou can set up to four daily reminders/alarms. Alarms can beset to ring once only, or daily for up to nine days.When the phone rings, lift the handset to answer the alarm. Ifyou do not, the alarm will alert you at pre-programmed inter-vals.To Set Alarms:• Press the WAKE-UP key or, using the SCROLL key and softkeys, select WAKE from the SET menu.• Dial the time you want the alarm to sound. Enter the timeas HHMM (hours and minutes) using a 24-hour clock.• In the COUNT field, enter a number 1–9 (for the numberof days) or 0 (for ‘every day’) for alarm to be repeated.• Use the Volume Up and Down keys to scroll through thelist of text messages (these must first have been set up bythe System Administrator).
