Connecting a VCRVideo ConnectionThese instructions assume that you have already connected your TV to an antenna or a cable TV system (according to theinstructions on pages 6-7). Skip step 1 if you have not yet connected to an antenna or a cable system.1. Unplug the cable orantenna from the backof the TV.1 Connect the cable orantenna to the ANT INterminal on the back ofthe VCR.3, Connect an RF Cablebetween the ANT OUTterminal on the VCRand theANT IN terminalon the TV.4, Connect a Video Cablebetween the VIDEOOUT jack on theVCR and theAV IN 1[Y/VIDEO] orAV IN 2[VIDEO] jack on the TV.5, ConnectAudio Cablesbetween the AUDIOOUT jacks on the VCRand theAV IN 1 (orAVIN 2) [R-AUDIO-L] jackson the TV.VCR Rear PanelTV Rear PanelIf you have a "mono"(non-stereo) VCR,use a Y-connector(not supplied) tohook up to the rightand left audio inputjacks of the TV. Ifyour VCR is stereo,you must connecttwo cables.TVSide PanelFollow the instructions in "Viewing a VCR or Camcorder Tape" to view your VCR tape.Each VCR has a different back panel configuration.When connecting a VCR, match the color of the connection terminal to the cable.When connecting toAV IN 1, the color of the AV IN 1 [Y/VIDEO] jack (Green) does notmatch the color of the video cable (Yellow).S-Video ConnectionYour Samsung TV can be connected to an S-Video jack on a VCR. (This connection delivers a better picture as comparedto a standard VCR.)1.
