Introduction_ 19Understanding the LEDThe color of the LEDs indicates the machine's current status.LED Status Description(TonerLED)Orange Blinking • Small amount of toner is left in thecartridge. The estimated cartridge lifeaa. Estimated cartridge life means the expected or estimated toner cartridgelife, which indicates the average capacity of print-outs and is designedpursuant to ISO/IEC 19752. The number of pages may be affected byoperating environment, printing interval, graphics, media type and mediasize. Some amount of toner may remain in the cartridge even when redLED is on and the printer stops printing.of toner is close. Prepare a newcartridge for replacement. You maytemporarily increase the printingquality by redistributing the toner. (See"Redistributing toner" on page 44.)On • A toner cartridge has almost reachedits estimated cartridge lifea. It isrecommended to replace the tonercartridge. Samsung cannotguarantee non-genuine Samsung toner cartridge's quality.
