S ETTING U P Y OUR P RINTER2.12Setting Up the Printer DriverThe printer drivers provided on the CD must be installed to take fulladvantage of the printer’s features.Printer drivers access the printer features and allow the computer tocommunicate with the printer.If you install the printer driver using the CD, PCL 6 is installed.The CD includes the following printer drivers.• PCL 6- You can use the PCL 6 driver in Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows NT 4.0and Windows 2000.The PCL6 driver supports Watermark, Overlay, N-Up and Poster printing.• Postscript.• Font Navigator.• Linux Driver.Notes: • You cannot use PostScript in Windows 3.1.• PCL 6 is the combination of the PCL 5e driver and the new PCLXL printerlanguage.
