Section 3B: Sprint PCS Vision 144Net GuardWhen you first connect to the Web, the Net Guard will appear toconfirm that you want to connect. This feature helps you avoidaccidental connections. You can disable the Net Guard in the futureby selecting Always Auto-Connect when the Net Guard is displayed.To change your Net Guard settings:1. Press for Main Menu.2. Highlight Settings and press .3. Press for PCS Vision.4. Press for Net Guard.5. Press up or down to select On or Off.6. Press to Save.Note: When enabled, the Net Guard appears only once per session. The Net Guarddoes not appear if the phone is merely re-connecting due to a time-out.Vision Connection Status and IndicatorsYour phone's display lets you know the current status of yourVision connection through indicators which appear at the top of thescreen. The following symbols are used:Your Vision connection is active (data is being transferred); thetransmit/receive symbol will blink to indicate datatransmission. Incoming voice calls go directly to voicemail;outgoing voice calls can be made, but the Vision connectionwill terminate.Your Vision connection is dormant (no data is being sentor received). Though not currently active, when dormant thephone can restart an active connection quickly; voice calls canbe made and received.Your phone is not currently able to access Vision servicefeatures.If no indicator appears, your phone does not have a currentVision connection.
