2.22 Receiving a Fax6. The machine stores the document in memory. The display counts thenumber of pages being stored in memory and the memory capacityremaining.The machine returns to Standby mode and the display shows areminder that a Polling Transmission is set. The machineautomatically switches to FAX mode (automatic receiving) when set tobe polled.Adding Documents To the Job to be polledIf you want to add documents to the original documents waiting inmemory to be polled, load the additional documents face down into thefeeder and then follow the procedure below.1. Press Menu, then press Polling, on the one-touch keypad. The LCDdisplays the polling options.2. Press 1 to select ‘1.TX POLL’. The display asks you to enter the Pollcode.The last used Poll code is displayed. Poll code ‘0000’ represents nocode.3. Enter the 4-digit Poll code you have previously set, then press Enter.The display asks you to select ‘ADD’ or ‘CANCEL.’4. To add documents to the previously stored documents, press 1.The machine stores the document in memory and returns to Standbymode.If you want to cancel the adding job and return to Standby mode,press 2.
