<< 36 >>Continuous shot MeteringYou can select the type of shooting and the number of continuous shots.[SINGLE] : Take one picture only[CONTINUOUS] : Images will be takencontinuously until the shutterbutton is released.The shooting capacity dependson the memory.[HIGH SPEED] : This takes 3 shots continuously(about 2.5 shots per second) when the shutter is presseddown and held.[M. CAPTURE] : This takes 7 shots per second, when the shutter is pressedand held down. After completing the continuous shooting,images are saved and the images play back on the RearLCD. The maximum number of shots is 20 and the imagesize is fixed as 1024x768.[AEB] : Take three pictures in a series using different exposures :standard exposure (0.0EV), Short exposure (-1/2EV) andover exposure (+1/2EV). High resolution and picture quality increases file saving time, whichincreases stand-by time. If the [CONTINUOUS], [HIGH SPEED], [M. CAPTURE] or [AEB] sub menuis selected, the flash is switched off automatically. It is best to use a tripod for the AEB shooting as the time to save eachimage file is longer and blurring caused by camera shake may occur. When the [M. CAPTURE] menu is selected, you only can select ISO AUTO,400, 800, 1600, 3200. The ACB function is not available when the [HIGH SPEED], [M.CAPTURE]or [AEB] options are enabled.If you cannot obtain suitable exposure conditions, you can change themetering method to take brighter pictures.[MULTI] : Exposure will be calculated based onan average of the available light in theimage area. However, the calculationwill be biased towards the centre ofthe image area.This is suitable for general use.[SPOT] : Only the rectangular area in the centreof the LCD monitor will be metered for light. This is suitable whenyou want the subject in the centre correctly exposed, regardlessof the back lighting.[CENTER] : Exposure will be calculated based on an average of the availablelight in the image area. However, the calculation will be biasedtowards the centre of the image area. This is suitable for taking apicture of small objects like a flower or insects. If the subject is not the centre of the focus area, do not use the spotmetering as this may result in an exposure error. In this circumstance, it isbetter to use exposure compensation.AEBM.
