That is,when pictures are taken in backlight conditions where the exposure variesconsiderably or where there is wide variation in brightness, the brightnessis automatically adjusted to obtain clear picture quality.This mode will set the shutter speed forautomatic exposure in manual mode. Highshutter speeds can capture a moving objectin a way that makes it seem as if the object isnot moving. Low shutter speeds can capturea moving object, giving it a dynamic feeling ofmovement. The ACB function is available in AUTO, PROGRAM or PORTRAIT recordingmode. ACB function always operates in the AUTO, PORTRAIT recordingmode. The ACB function is not available when the HIGH SPEED, M.CAPTURE orAEB options are enabled.
