This section alsodescribes the predictive text entry system that reduces theamount of key strokes associated with entering text.Virtual QWERTY keyboardYour Omnia has a virtual QWERTY keyboard. You can access thiskeyboard by tapping the QWERTY keyboard icon located atthe bottom of the display, when certain menus are accessed.Using this keypad, you can type letters, punctuation, numbers,and other special characters into text entry fields or otherapplications available on your Omnia.Text Entry - Input ModeThere are four different character input methods available:• Block Recognizer• keyboard• Letter Recognizer• Samsung keyboard• Samsung keypad• Samsung Phonepad• TranscriberEach of these methods allow you to input alphanumericcharacters and symbols into your Omnia. In addition to theseinput methods, there are other options such as Word Completionassociated with the input selected.To access the Input settings: From the Today screen, tap the right soft key function MainMenu ➔ Settings ➔ Input .Block RecognizerThis input method uses the traditional writing area box split in themiddle. This method allows you to enter characters using singlestrokes.The left side is used to write letters and the right side is fornumber entry. Symbols and common functions are located inother smaller boxes located to the right of the writing box area.There are no options associated with this type of input method.KeyboardThis input method displays an on-screen keyboard that can beused to input characters by tapping the screen using the stylus.The keyboard entry method has the following options:• Large keys
