LanguageIt is variable depending on the model. When you start using the television for the first time, you mustselect the language which will be used for displaying menus and indications. Change PINPress the ▲ or ▼ button to select Change PIN, then press the ENTER button. The Enter PIN isdisplayed. Enter your current 4-digit PIN by using the numeric buttons (0~9).®The Enter New PIN and Confirm New PIN is displayed.®If you forget the PIN, press the remote control buttons in the following sequence, whichresets the PIN to 0-0-0-0:POWER (Off), MUTE, 8, 2, 4, POWER (On). Parental LockThis feature allows you to prevent unauthorized users, suchas children, from watching unsuitable programmes by a 4-digit PIN (Personal Identification Number) that is defined bythe user. The on-screen menu will instruct you to assign aPIN (you can change it later, if necessary).1 Enter your 4-digit PIN by using the numeric buttons (0~9).2 Press the ENTER button to select Parental Rating.3 Press the ▲ or ▼ button to select an appropriaterestriction, then press the ENTER button.The “ ” symbol is indicated.®While “ ” is selected, press the ENTER button toblock or unblock the category.®Allow All: Press to unlock all TV ratings.Block All: Press to lock all TV ratings.®The default code for a new TV set is 0000. Subtitle− Subtitle : On / Off®You can select these options simply by pressing theSUBT. button on the remote control.− Mode : Normal (basic subtitle) / Hard of hearing(subtitle for a hearing-impaired person)®If the programme you are watching does not supportthe Hard of hearing function, Normal automaticallyactivates even though Hard of hearing mode isselected.− Subtitle Language : You can change the default value for subtitle languages.
