20_ operatingCONTROLLING THE FRIDGETEMPERATUREThe fridge temperature can be set between34 °F and 44 °F (or between 1 °C and 7 °C) tosuit your particular needs. Press the Fridge buttonrepeatedly until the desired temperature is shownin the temperature display. The temperature willchange by 1 °F (or 1 °C) with each press.See below.Fahrenheit : 37 °F ➞ 36 °F ➞ 35 °F ➞ 34 °F ➞ 44°F ➞ 43 °F ➞ 42 °F ➞ 41 °F ➞ 40 °F ➞ 39 °F ➞38 °F ➞ 37 °F.Centigrade : 3 °C ➞ 2 °C ➞ 1 °C ➞ 7 °C ➞ 6 °C➞ 5 °C ➞ 4 °C ➞ 3 °C.Recommended Temp (Fridge) : 38 °F (3 °C)• The temperature of the Freezer, Fridge orCool Select Pantry Zone may rise whenyou open the doors too frequently, or ifa large amount of warm or hot food isplaced inside.• This may cause the digital display to blink. Oncethe Freezer and Fridge temperature return to theirnormal set temperatures, the blinking will stop.• If the blinking continues, you may need to “reset”the Refrigerator. Try unplugging the appliance,wait for around 10 minutes, and then plug thepower cord back in.• If there is a communication error between theDisplay and Main Controller, the ConvertibleDisplay light may blink. If the blinking continuesfor a long period of time, please contact aSamsung Electronics Service Center.USING THE COLD WATERDISPENSERPush the appropriate ice type buttonto select what you want dispensed.Using the ice lever ( 1 )Push the Ice lever dispenser ( 1 ) gently with yourglass. Ice will be released from the dispenser.You can choose the type of ice by pushing thecubed or crushed button first.NO ICESelect this if you want toturn ice maker offUsing the Water lever ( 2 )Push the Water lever dispenser ( 2 )gently with your glass. Water will bereleased from the dispenser.• If you push the water andIce lever at about thesame time, the dispenseroperates only the optionyou actually selected or pushed first.• Please wait 1 second before removingthe cup after dispensing water to preventspills. Do not pull out the lever dispenserafter dispensing ice or water. It comesback automatically.Using the Ice & Water Dispenser togetherTo get Ice and water, push the Ice lever ( 1 ) firstfor ice, then move your glass down and press thewater dispenser lever ( 2 ) for water.MAINTAINING THE ICE BUCKET• To clean the ice bin/bucket, wash with a milddetergent, rinse well, and dry thoroughly. Donot use harsh or abrasive cleaners or solvents.• Ice is made in cubes.
