14_ operatingControlling the fridge temperatureThe fridge temperature can be set between between34°F and 46°F (or between 7°C and 1°C) to suit yourparticular needs. Press the Fridge button repeatedlyuntil the desired temperature is shown in thetemperature display. The temperature will change by2°F (or 1°C) with each press. See below.Fahrenheit : 38°F ➞ 36°F ➞ 34°F ➞ 46°F ➞ 44°F ➞42°F ➞ 40°F ➞ 38°F.Centigrade : 3°C ➞ 2°C ➞ 1°C ➞ 7°C ➞ 6°C ➞ 5°C➞ 4°C ➞ 3°C.The temperature control process for the Fridge worksjust like the Freezer process. Press the Fridge buttonto set your desired temperature. After a few seconds,the Fridge will begin adjusting towards the newly settemperature. This will be refl ected in the digital display.- The temperature of the Freezer, Fridge or PantryRoom may rise when you open the doors toofrequently, or if a large amount of warm or hot foodis placed inside.- This may cause the digital display to blink. Once thefreezer and Fridge temperature return to their normalset temperatures, the blinking will stop.- If the blinking continues, you may need to “reset”the refrigerator. Try unplugging the appliance, waitfor around 10 minutes and then plug the power cordback in.- If there is a communication error between theDisplay and Main Controller, the Pantry Display lightmay blink. If the blinking continues for a long periodof time, please contact a Samsung ElectronicsService Center.USING THE COLD WATERDISPENSERPush the appropriate ice type button toselect what you want dispensed.Using the ice DispenserPlace a glass underneath the icedispenser and push gently against thedispenser lever with your glass.Make sure the glass is in line withthe dispenser to prevent the ice frombouncing out.Please wait 2 seconds beforeremoving the glass under thedispenser to prevent spills.If the Refrigerator door opens, the Dispenser does notwork.When Cubed Ice is selected after using theCrushed Ice mode, a small amount of residualcrushed ice might be produced.Do not pull the lever out. You could damageor break the lever's spring.• To clean the ice bin/bucket, wash with amild detergent, rinsewell, and dry thoroughlyit. Do not use harsh orabrasive cleaners orsolvents.• When you selectCubed Ice after usingthe Crushed Ice mode,a small amount ofresidual crushed ice might be produced.• If ice doesn’t come out, pull out the ice bucket andpress the test button located on the right side of icemaker.• Do not press the test button continuously when thetray is fi lled with ice or water. Water may overfl ow orice may jam the bucket.• Normal UseTo fi ll the ice bucket to maximum capacity afterinstallation, follow these steps:1.
