English - 16CHECKING THE WATERDISPENSER LINEA water dispenser is one of the helpful features onyour new Samsung Refrigerator. To help promote better health, the Samsung waterfilter removes unwanted particles from your water. However, it does not sterilize or destroymicroorganisms. You may need to purchase a water purifyingsystem to do that.In order for the ice maker to operate properly, awater pressure of 20~125 psi (pound per squareinch) is required.Under normal conditions, a 170 cc (5.75 oz.) papercup can be filled in 10 seconds. If the Refrigerator is installed in an area with lowwater pressure (below 20psi), you can install abooster pump to compensate for the low pressure.Make sure the water storage tank inside theRefrigerator is properly filled. To do this, press the water dispenser lever until thewater runs from the water outlet.Water line installation kits are available atextra cost from your dealer. We recommend using a water supply kitthat contains copper tubing.Connecting to the water supply line1. First, shut off the main water supply line andturn the ice-maker off.2. Locate the nearest cold, drinking water line.3.
