10_ setting upCHECKING THE WATER DISPENSERLINEa water dispenser is one of the helpful features onyour new Samsung Refrigerator. To help promotebetter health, the Samsung water filter removesunwanted particles from your water. However, it doesnot sterilize or destroy microorganisms. You may needto purchase a water purifying system to do that.In order for the ice maker to operate properly, a waterpressure of 20~125 psi (pound per square inch) isrequired. Under normal conditions, a 170 cc (5.75 oz.)paper cup can be filled in 10 seconds. If the Refrigerator is installed in an area with low waterpressure (below 20psi), you can install a booster pumpto compensate for the low pressure.Make sure the water storage tank inside theRefrigerator is properly filled. To do this, press thewater dispenser lever until the water runs from thewater outlet.Water line installation kits are available at extracost from your dealer. We recommend using awater supply kit that contains copper tubing.Connecting to the water supply line1. First, shut off the main water supply line and turnthe ice-maker off.2.
